DESCRIPTION:The 2024 California Immunization Coalition Summit will provide clinical updates and the latest information on issues related to vaccine administration and communication. Your attendance at this statewide event will help expand your knowledge about immunization issues and communication strategies and will connect you with public health colleagues and private sector representatives that will help support your work in educating and supporting your community. The Summit is a terrific opportunity to renew our collective vision to make access to vaccinations and disease prevention a reality for all Californians. \nApplication for continuing education credit for physicians\, pharmacists and nurses is in process and will be announced here shortly. \nRefund Policy: Cancellations made prior to May 3\, 2024 will be refunded to the original payment source\, but will be charged a 30% processing fee and the Eventbrite fees are nonrefundable. Refunds will not be made for cancellations after May 3\, 2024 or for no-shows. Cancellation requests need to be made in writing by letter or email to info@immunizeca.org (no phone calls are accepted). SUMMARY:Epidemiology & Prevention Of Vaccine Preventable Diseases (The Pink Book) Course
DESCRIPTION:Faculty from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) will present a live\, comprehensive review of immunization principles\, as well as vaccine-preventable diseases and the recommended vaccines to prevent them. The 2 day course will feature the most up-to-date immunization information from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). \nWHO SHOULD ATTEND: \nThe course is designed for anyone seeking the most comprehensive and current knowledge of immunization\, including physicians\, nurses\, nurse practitioners\, physician assistants\, medical assistants\, pharmacists\, immunization providers\, program managers\, nursing and medical students\, and other medical support staff.
