SUMMARY:Super Shot Inc.: Trusted Messengers - Understanding Trust and How to Answer Any Questions (morning session)
DESCRIPTION:To continue to build trust in vaccines\, Super Shot\, and local partners\, are welcoming Todd Wolynn\, MD\, MMM and Chad Hermann\, PhD ABD of the Trusted Messenger Program to Fort Wayne\, IN\, on Wednesday\, August 19\, 2026. They will provide training on “Understanding Trust and How to Answer Any Question”. \nVaccine counseling has become an increasingly critical component of patient care. This training will provide evidence-based communication approaches that strengthen provider patient relationships and methods to respond effectively when patients express questions\, concerns\, and hesitancy. This event is designed for physicians\, healthcare providers\, and professionals involved in patient-facing communication — including marketing and communications team members who help shape public understanding and trust. \nWhat you’ll learn: \n\nEvidence-based communication strategies\nHow to respond to patient questions\, concerns\, and hesitancy\nMethods to strengthen provider-patient trust\n\nThis event is an extension of the “Back the Science. Broadcast the Facts.” campaign. In early 2025\, local healthcare providers partnered to combat the confusion caused by recent childhood vaccine recommendations from HHS and the CDC. The Allen County Department of Health\, Fort Wayne Pediatrics\, IU Health Medical Group\, Lutheran Health Physicians\, Parkview Health\, Pediatric Associates Inc.\, and Super Shot Inc. came together to create a PSA encouraging parents to trust their local doctors when making vaccine decisions. https://youtu.be/C8Ty_g4l97Y?si=ZgVrMnLorHU8HTKb
