DESCRIPTION:Register for AIM’s upcoming vaccine confidence webinar\, The Science of Vaccine Communication: Research to Practice\, on Friday\, September 18\, from 12-1 pm ET. \nJoin AIM for an engaging session focused on strategies for building vaccine confidence through evidence-based and effective vaccine communication. Attendees will gain practical insights that can be used to communicate intentionally\, build trust\, and support vaccine confidence in their communities. \nXiaoli Nan\, PhD\, a professor in the department of communication at University of Maryland\, will share her findings on the evolution of vaccine communication research. These findings include current research gaps and considerations for the future of vaccine confidence research\, and emerging communication tools and strategies. \nElisabeth Marnik\, PhD\, a science communicator and immunologist\, will discuss principles of effective science communication\, provide tools for building trust and engagement\, and share valuable communication tips for public health professionals. \nThe webinar will also feature a fireside chat with both speakers and will be facilitated by former Alaska immunization program manager\, Laurel Wood. \nPlease contact Rachel Van Gundy at rvangundy@immunizationmanagers.org with any questions.
