Adult Immunization Coalition of Central Ohio
Mission
The Adult Immunization Coalition of Central Ohio is a collaborative effort of concerned partners committed to reducing vaccine preventable diseases by educating healthcare providers and the public and encouraging the implementation of programs to increase adult immunization rates. The goal is to improve adult immunization rates in Central Ohio by promoting awareness and improving accessibility to the uninsured and minority populations. To achieve this goal the Coalition has brought together a diverse array of stakeholders that include local health departments, hospitals, home health care, long-term care, physicians, insurers, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and community service groups.
