National Vaccine Advisory Committee Meeting

This meeting will include the presentation of recommendations from two NVAC working groups for deliberation and vote.

• The Vaccine Confidence Working Group will present their report and recommendations for building vaccinations confidence, including ways to measure and evaluate how confidence in vaccines impacts the optimal use of recommended childhood vaccines in the United States.
• The Human Papilloma Virus Vaccine (HPV) working group will present their report and recommendations identifying effective practices to increase HPV vaccinations in young adolescents.
  In addition, NVAC will review analyses and proposed recommendations related to ways that vaccines could be a major component in efforts described in the President’s National Strategy and Action Plan to Combat Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria.
