Description

The 317 Coalition is a free network comprised of a diverse group of producers, academics, advocates, and providers in the immunization community. Through its website, the coalition provides action alerts, Congressional funding news, and legislative updates.

Mission

The coalition advocates for the immunization program at the CDC known as Section 317, by educating members of Congress about the importance of the program and asking for full federal funding to continue its work.

Goals

The goals of the coalition are to secure adequate funding for Section 317 according to the CDC’s professional budget estimate, and to build support in Congress for immunization and the correct infrastructure to protect the public.
