Allegheny County Immunization Coalition

The Allegheny County Immunization Coalition (ACIC) is a grant-funded coalition dedicated to delivering accurate and timely vaccine information in Western Pennsylvania. Through our vaccine champions and a team of diverse healthcare professionals, our goal is to boost vaccination rates across all demographics. Our collaborative efforts have led to notable increases in vaccination rates, positively impacting public health outcomes in the region.

The coalition’s diverse membership includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and public health professionals, all committed to achieving their mission of “community immunity”. They believe that promoting immunization can significantly impact public health.

Goals

ACIC works within the Western Pennsylvania community (Pittsburgh and surrounding region) to provide education and improve vaccination rates. Their primary focus is to reach out to areas with low immunization rates and increase public understanding of recommended immunizations through education and awareness campaigns.
