Description
Boost Oregon is a parent-led, independent nonprofit organization that educates parents and supports medical providers about children's vaccines. We are funded by individual donations and community foundations; we do not accept donations of any kind from pharmaceutical companies.
Mission
Boost Oregon aims to eliminate vaccine-preventable diseases by educating parents about the benefits, side effects, and safety of children's vaccines. We use evidence-based information to empower parents and support medical providers.
Goals
Boost Oregon educates parents through community workshops taught by medical providers, parent-to-parent conversations, and printed and online educational materials. We train doctors, nurses, midwives, and naturopathic providers how to communicate effectively with their vaccine-hesitant patients.
