Description
The Colorado Children’s Immunization Coalition (CCIC) is dedicated to keeping Colorado kids healthy by building awareness for vaccines, educating healthcare providers, and advocating for policies that protect children with the goal of increasing childhood vaccination rates. As Colorado’s only statewide independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to children’s immunization, CCIC elevates the essential role vaccines play in preventing illness and promoting health for all of Colorado. CCIC works with healthcare providers, public health departments, businesses, policy makers, and community organizations to fulfill our mission. By focusing on four programming areas – coalition building, community outreach, provider education, and public policy – the coalition leverages the strengths and resources of its members and community partners to maximize the effectiveness of our efforts. CCIC does not accept funding from vaccine manufacturers or distributors.
