The Louisiana Shots for Tots Coalition is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is committed to children’s immunization by working cooperatively with public and private entities to further educate and update parents and providers to achieve the highest level of immunizations for Louisiana’s most valuable assets, its children.

Mission

It shall be the mission of the Louisiana Shots for Tots Coalition to link immunization providers, parents, children, payers, and community coalitions with technical support, public and professional education, and community resources to immunize all children.

Goals

A. Promote current national immunization recommendations.
B. Promote accurate assessment of the statewide immunization status.
C. Spearhead statewide public education efforts.
D. Support statewide professional education.
E. Facilitate and support partnership formation among community groups, healthcare providers, businesses and other agencies throughout Louisiana.
F. Educate and/or advocate policy issues relating to immunization.
G. Support and promote Louisiana’s Immunization Network for Kids Statewide (LINKS).
