Massachusetts Chapter of the AAP (MCAAP), Immunization Initiative

Mission

The Immunization Initiative’s (“Initiative”) mission is to join forces with The Massachusetts Department of Public Health and other organizations to fully immunize children and adolescents in Massachusetts against vaccine preventable diseases.

Goals

To accomplish its mission, the Initiative sponsors or collaborates in educational programs and services aimed at healthcare professionals and the general public; participates in collaborative initiatives to identify, educate and immunize children and adolescents who are at high risk, under-served or under-immunized; and advocates for legislative policies and programs that optimize the immunization of children and adolescents in the Massachusetts against vaccine preventable diseases.
