Montgomery County Immunization Coalition

Description

Our Coalition, founded in July 2003, consists of a group of dedicated individuals representing various departments of the County government including the Office of Public Health and Office of Senior Services, as well as school, hospital, non-profit and community representatives from across Montgomery County. We like to think of the coalition as “the public and private sector working together for better immunization coverage and practices.”

In 2020, we also pulled together a Flu and COVID-19 Committee which now consists of 123 public and private organizations, working together to educate and outreach to our communities on the importance of flu and COVID-19 vaccinations. We have supported many community vaccine clinics, provided Town Hall/Ask the Expert virtual events, and developed culturally diverse outreach campaigns among many other things.
