North Carolina Immunization Coalition

Mission

The North Carolina Immunization Coalition is a statewide network that coordinates and supports efforts to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with vaccine-preventable diseases.

Goals

To educate North Carolinians about the impact of vaccine-preventable diseases. Enhance awareness of and knowledge about immunizations among health care workers, caregivers and service providers. Develop and maintain partnerships in order to facilitate networking, sharing of ideas, and pooling of resources. Monitor and report national and state trends on immunization activity. Inform about policy issues related to vaccine-preventable diseases.
