Pierce County Immunization Coalition

Description

The Pierce County Immunization Coalition (PCIC) was founded in 1998 with the goal to protect Pierce County residents across the lifespan from vaccine-preventable diseases. This is accomplished, in part, by raising immunization rates through provider and community education and creating awareness of what vaccine preventable diseases are. The PCIC has a rich partnership with local pediatricians and family medicine physicians, as well as community pharmacies, local health departments, local schools, and large medical organizations.
