Utah Immunization Special Interest Group (UISIG)

Description

The Utah Immunization Special Interest Group (UISIG) is part of the Utah Public Health Association (UPHA). The Greater Salt Lake Immunization Coalition is now a chapter of this group.

Mission

The Utah Immunization Special Interest Group of UPHA is a coalition of public health professionals, health educators, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, community leaders and citizens committed to improving immunization rates in children, adolescents, and adults to prevent vaccines preventable diseases in the State of Utah.

Goals

Advocate for policies that increase immunization rates in Utah.
Expand and sustain an effective and collaborative state-wide organization.
Coordinate immunization education, information, and awareness.
Promote access to immunizations for all children, adolescents, and adults in Utah.
