Please save the date! The Immunization Action Coalition (IAC) invites you to participate in a 1-hour webinar for immunization coalition leaders, members, and those who collaborate with coalitions on Thursday, October 6, at noon ET (11:00 am CT). The webinar will focus on how to avoid common vaccination errors, and report them if made.

Speakers will include:

She will share common vaccine-related questions and practice blunders as communicated to the CDC experts via nipinfo@cdc.gov, and the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System.
  2. Michael Cohen, RPh, MS, ScD (hon.), DPS (hon.) is president of the Institute for Safe Medication Practices (ISMP), a nonprofit healthcare organization that specializes in understanding the causes of medication errors and providing error-reduction strategies to the healthcare community, policy makers, and the public. 3. Teresa Anderson, DDS, MPH, consultant, Immunization Action Coalition, will provide a summary of the vaccination errors communicated to IAC via email, and useful resources to help avoid such errors.

We will circulate the final agenda and call-in information the week before the conference call. Hope you all can make it!
