SAVE THE DATE: The Immunization Action Coalition (IAC) invites you to participate in a one-hour webinar for immunization coalition leaders, members, and those who collaborate with coalitions on September 30, at 1:00 p.m. ET (12:00 p.m. CT). The focus of this webinar will be the American Medical Association’s (AMA) policy on immunization exemptions. All are welcome to participate.
At its annual meeting in June, the American Medical Association adopted a new policy that supports ending non-medical exemptions to immunization mandates. Read a related AMA press release: AMA Supports Tighter Limitations on Immunization Opt Outs.
The featured speaker will be Barry Dickinson, PhD. Dr. Dickinson received his doctorate in pharmacology from the University of Illinois at the Medical Center in Chicago and is currently director of the AMA’s Division on Science and Biotechnology.
We will circulate the final agenda and call-in information shortly before the webinar. Hope you all can make it!
